Menzies Mission
Menzies Philanthropic Foundation is a non-profit organization created to collect, organize and distribute resources, support, and proven systems of eco-regeneration, education, and self-development to the 7 orphanages in Belize. Our goal is to provide for the 7 basic needs, as identified by Shirley Menzies, while also providing deep healing and mentorship so that each child can discover and develop their passion, talents, and potential.
We believe that by inspiring self-actualization we can affect the cycle of poverty, abuse, and trauma for generations to come.
The foundation is in the organizational phase, launching in Belize in the summer of 2023, then later expanding globally to similar under-served hot spots.
In its commitment to regeneration, the CEO of the Menzies Foundation has designed a powerful model of financial regeneration for the whole organization by creating a ‘for profit’ social impact business (Me is We Inc). The Me Is We Foundation will partner with like-minded socially impactful businesses to generate multiple streams of income, and donate the majority of profits to the Menzies Foundation to ensure its financial growth and eventual self-sufficiency.
The ultimate vision of the two organizations working together is to create the first eco-regenerative, conscious community, designed to house, heal, develop, and empower societies' most vulnerable families and children.

The Menzies Philanthropic Foundation is a US-based nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving the lives of orphans and at-risk families in Belize and eventually throughout the globe. We focus our support based on the Shirley Menzies 7 Basic Needs,(housing, health, education, nutrition, family, faith, and love), as we collect, organize and distribute resources, support, and proven systems of eco-regeneration, education, and self-development.
Our ultimate goal is to design and create the first eco-regenerative conscious community to heal trauma and provide safe homes for orphans and vulnerable families. We need volunteers with passion, purpose, and a true desire to make an impact, to actualize this vision, and we invite You to the Mission!

We need your help to make our Ultimate Vision into a Reality… the“ Me Is We Family Village”. It will be the first eco-regenerative conscious community to house, heal, mentor, and empower orphaned children and families in a co-creative village environment. This community will not only provide a Safe Haven but will serve to provide a self-supported family unit where each member is responsible for their contribution and will be accountable to the whole. It will be a place where people can remove themselves from their “fight or flight” situation, and change their trajectory with the love, support, and mentorship of their family tribe.
